The Bermudas

A Sunset

The last sunset in this amazing place. There is something in the air that makes this place addictive: the beaches, the water, the people, the animals, and the sounds. The sounds of paradise connect the senses and allow you to experience this place in the full 360 degrees.

Completion.

It allows one to observe 100 percent. Its sunsets wrap you in a blanket of peace and calm. The sounds bounce off your eardrums with penetrating and haunting resilience. The sand is everywhere, literally; it reminds us of each beach and the activities as well as the beauty of this tiny island. Each day here has its own individual story and memory, but the collective thought is one of awesome intensity. The nights are inviting, tempting you to come and play, but it is just jealous of the day and its ability to give us joy. As I listen carefully, this place calls my name.

In the beginning this trip seemed to be long and it would take forever to get home, but as we sit here, it is as clear as Tobacco Bay , that we are returning to the mountains. We are visitors here, but not tourists. We have sipped from the cup of Bermuda , tasted its fruits and been eaten by the island itself. We have bathed in her warm sunlight, swum in her eternal waters, and moved to her flowing beat. We have visited and chatted with her many inhabitants, as well as listened to her song. Bermuda is something we will not soon forget, and as we sit here contemplating the next great idea, we should think of what this trip has given us, and what we have given to this trip in return.
