Current Events for Salmon Project:

BEWARE: Don't do the current events in the same fashion we have been doing...pay close attention to the directions below for each article
Every two weeks, as usual, you will do your current events assignment. Most of the articles will be provided. Here is the calendar of assignments for this aspect of our salmon project.
Save PAPER! There is NO need to turn in the article with the write-up. They are the same articles for everyone.

Due Date: by 2/8/10

Article #1: LINK (It’s actually two articles that you will read about other schools that have done this project.)

1) Write proper citations for each of the articles

2) Write a >300 word abstract summarizing both the articles together.

3) Write five probing questions you would ask the students of the project (these can’t be questions to general things that you can look up, like “what do you call a baby salmon after it has hatched?”)

4) List five vocabulary words with definitions from the articles
